Online food hygiene courses
Your safety is important to us so we have developed a new approach to delivering our training courses during the pandemic. Our courses detailed below, incorporate a blend of Covid secure classroom sessions, directed reading and online content; to provide a comprehensive and safe learning experience. Our courses are accredited by the Royal Society of Public Health and we continue to ensure the integrity of the course content and programme of delivery meets the same high standard that you would expect from such accreditation. 

RSPH Classroom Courses

We can still deliver a RSPH accredited course to your staff within your place of work; subject to agreeing sufficient control measures to keep everyone safe from Covid. Simply contact us for a quote and more information.

Alternatively you may wish to enrol on one of our open courses mixing remote learning with classroom sesions held at our training suite in Thundersley, Benfleet, Essex.

 The Royal Society of Public Health is the longest-established public health body. A RSPH accredited certificate shows a standard of excellence within your business to help ensure you obtain the best possible hygiene rating.
Level 1 Food Hygiene
Level 1 is ideal as an induction course and for staff with limited food handling duties.

 Level 2 Food Hygiene 
Suitable for all kitchen staff. Meets the legal requirement for staff involved in handling open high risk food.
This course can be taken online, as a classroom course or as a practical session at your workplace.

Classroom Level 2 Food Hygiene Course dates:

Monday 2nd November 2020.

£79 per person. 10am - 5pm including multiple choice test.
Delivered at our training suite in Thundersley, Benfleet, Essex.

Practical work based training:
Our exclusive practical training session for food handlers is ideal for candidates that are less academic, cannot read or write or simply don't like written exams. The trainer uses the clients kitchen to demonstrate good hygiene practice to a level 2 standard and provides each candidate with a certificate of attendance. £200 per session.

​Level 3 Food Hygiene - £325
Suitable for supervisors, managers and business owners. This 2 day course with reading between sessions covers topics required to manage food safety in the workplace, including the implementation of HACCP procedures. Candidates now also receive free access to our online content to enhance your learning experience.

Over 2 Days -
Monday 2nd November and Monday 9th November 2020.

​Delivered at our training suite in Thundersley, Benfleet, Essex with reading and online material to support your learning. Multiple choice exam in the classroom.

Level 4 Food Hygiene - £995
Suitable for production managers, senior hygiene personnel, hygiene auditors and trainers. This 4 week course gives candidates an in depth understanding of food hygiene matters focusing on management of systems and staff.

Next level 4 course dates:
Delivered over 4 weeks including 3 days in the classroom -
2nd, 9th & 23rd November 2020 

​Delivered at our training room in Thundersley, Benfleet, Essex​ with directed reading, online material and course work over the 4 week period. Concludes with a written exam on the afternoon of the 23rd.

Level 2 HACCP Course - £150

For candidates wanting to understand & contribute to the implementation of HACCP.

Level 3 HACCP Course - £325

A course for those wishing to learn the principles of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points. Suitable for anyone wishing to put in place a HACCP system or be involved in a HACCP team. Candidates will learn how to create their own HACCP plan.

SFBB Workshop - £50

A short session to help managers or business owners complete a Safer Food Better Business pack. An alternative to traditional HACCP paperwork for small careering outlets. Cost £50 per person. Either bring your own SFBB pack or purchase one at the time for a discounted price of £25 on the day.

  • Reduced class sizes and dedicated one on one training sessions.
  • Adapted delivery techniques to reduce group interactions and sharing of props.
  • Safe distribution of course materials to limit handling.
  • Hand washing and use of sanitiser.
  • Use of a face covering by the trainer where 2 meter distance is not possible.
